November's meeting was another example of our dedication to The Craft and truly being the "University of Freemasonry". Prior to the Stated Meeting , Rudy Velasco, Mark Escobedo, Nick Seneca and Alan Franks all came together to put on a great 6th degree. We have now added three degree teams in 2015 which is an accomplishment to be proud of. Now that we are in January it is time to prepare for the 2016 Installation of Officers. We will have special guest, The Most Worshipful and Illustrious David C. Decker, Past Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of the State of California. Most Worshipful and Illustrious David C. Decker will serve as our Installing Officer. Hector Minon 32° has offered to prepare an exciting Installation Dinner. Be sure to RSVP by Monday, January 25.
As the year of 2015 has come and gone I am pleased to take a moment and reflect on our accomplishments. As a Valley we jumped head first into the Supreme Council's VMAP and succeeded! Our "smaller" Valley stepped up and tackled a project that some of the largest Valleys in the Country failed to complete. Together we did it! In October, we held our 3rd straight Feast of Tishri and were left in awe by our guest speaker the Most Worshipful and Illustrious R. Stephen Doan, 33°. To end the year as strong as we started, Jim Kay and the rest of the CLLC Board Members secured a permanent spot at the Palm Springs Village Fest.
All of the accomplishments we have achieved this year could not have been completed without the help of so many. I would like to personally thank everyone for their support.
Shane DaCosta, 32°
